Zeitgemäße alpine Architektur zeichnet den Kitzbühel Country Club aus.
The Entrepreneurial Vision to Create Something New
For over 10 years, KCC Landlord Richard Hauser was captivated by the idea that finally led him to found the Kitzbühel Country Club. His careful considerations were driven by the vision to, as an entrepreneur, create something new.
In light of the already dense touristic infrastructure present in Kitzbühel, the continuous high power of attraction of the region, and the more than 20,000 people with premium primary and secondary homes, Hauser observed a peculiar contradiction: “I noticed how unusual it is that all the big investments were aimed at people who didn’t have a connection to the region yet. However, there is great potential among the people who are already here, or who love to come back again and again because they’ve found a home here.” Almost nobody caters to the needs of these people, says Hauser. The region of Tirol and the Kitzbühel area in particular are highly sought-after, and this project imbues them with new potential for continued development and a strengthening of local qualities.
In support of international networking, the KCC is the only Austrian club that is member of the international IAC club network. As such, its doors are open to all IAC Club Members. In cooperation with Mercedes Benz, the KCC shuttle service will gladly drive Club guests to and from the airports in Munich, Vienna, Innsbruck, and Salzburg.
Modern Alpine Design, Re-interpreted
The KCC Clubhouse sets new standards in architecture and interior design: Tyrolean architect Hermann Holzknecht developed the philosophical design concept for owner Richard Hauser. His credo: Contemporary Alpine architecture distinguished by openness and clarity. The exaggerated half-moon of the KCC building draws visitors inward, opening to its surroundings in the direction of the Wilde Kaiser and leaving ample space for nature. Holzknecht’s architecture creates spaces that make it possible to playfully transition between privacy and community, and between retreat and sociality.
The generous design of the KCC suites invite one to combine the comforts of an apartment with the exclusive services of the Club. Private storage units can also be rented. Each suite is equipped with its own kitchen, steam shower, and WLAN. Some suites also have a private sauna. The various loggias, terraces, and balconies of the Club provide wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Referencing the Stube, the most traditional Alpine living space, designer duo stuben21 have created a modern interpretation of the spirit of Viennese Modernity for the suites and KCC Restaurant, furnishing with clear forms and traditional Stuben-style furniture. They create an unmistakably cozy and lighthearted atmosphere.
The Forsthaus, a private in-town chalet in Kitzbühel, can also be booked upon request. With its unique location between town center and the Hahnenkamm, the Forsthaus has over 250 m2 of floor space and 1,200 m2 of grounds, including five bedrooms, four baths, a large living room, dining room, meeting room, and kitchen. It is stylishly furnished with designer furniture, a hi-fi media system, and everything you need to fulfill your everyday wishes.
Investors have the opportunity to invest in a KCC Suite. An investment in the Kitzbühel Country Club enables you security, service, and financial returns. Investors additionally receive a personal Owner Membership and are able to use all Club services at any time. The ownership of a Member Suite is officially registered and titled. Your Member Suite is managed solely by the KCC. As owner, you receive a share of net lodging revenue. Management and maintenance are carried out by the KCC. Personal wishes for the design and furnishing of the Suite can be taken into consideration.
Internationally Inspired Culinary Culture at the Highest Level
The KCC Kitchen is led by Chef Reinhard Brandner and unites a love for regional and seasonal specialties with the finest inspirations from worldwide cuisine. Special events are regularly accompanied by festive meals, for example after a concert in the club, on holidays, one of our much-loves Sunday Brunches, etc. Reinhard Brandner’s in-club cooking classes are regularly booked up. The Club Vinothek is, with around 1000 bottles of fine wine, a smallish one, but very well stocked; and we will gladly fulfill your personal wishes.
The generous Bar & Lounge invites you to stay and relax around the clock – whether it be for a cup of coffee in the morning, an afternoon snack, or an evening drink. For everybody who likes to meet friends for cocktails or enjoy an aperitif with excellent company, the bar with its legendary gold leaf ceiling is the ideal meeting place.
The cigar lounge, replete with a humidor and private cigar lockboxes has a fantastic view of the Wilde Kaiser, Kitzbühler Horn, southern mountains, Hahnenkamm, and Rauen Kopf peaks. The breathtaking panorama can also be enjoyed from the adjoining 1000-square-meter terrace. This is where the day comes to a close, with a hand-rolled cigar, fine spirits from the lounge bar, and the fire crackling in the open fireplace.
Wellness for the Sophisticated and Demanding
The Club’s Wellness Area includes a steam bath, large sauna, and infrared sauna, inviting you to come in and relax. The relaxation area is made of chopped stone pine, creating a unique atmosphere of holistic pleasantness. The Tranquility Room also provides a lovingly designed space for relaxation and retreat. Swimming in the 25-meter natural stone pool made of serpentine and with a skylight is a nature experience in any weather. In the KCC Medical Spa, university professor Dr. Huber has regular consultation hours. Among other things, he is specialized in endocrine disorders and the aging processes that go along with them.
The regular yoga classes held in the Club are also very popular, as well as fitness sessions with a personal trainer on our cutting edge Technogym equipment with integrated multimedia devices and a workout room with kinesis wall.
KCC Initiates Culture and Lifestyle
The KCC organizes a wide range of events all through the year, from viewings of top-notch sports events accompanied by excellent cuisine in the Club’s own movie theater, all the way to the Kitzbühel Stuben Talks, a series of panel discussions by experts on current affairs and societal issues. The KCC Arts Program invites international artists to exhibit and discuss in the Club.
The 2013/2014 season saw the start of the Kitzbühel Steinway Salon, under the artistic direction of Prof. Erwin Kropfitsch and named after the Club’s Steinway D 274, which delighted audiences in the Royal Albert Hall before moving to Kitzbühel. Part of the KCC Open House Events program, this concert series, which includes classical piano evenings, diverse ensembles, and jazz music, is also open to non-members (limited ticket contingency à € 25.-, free for Members).
